Database for biomass and waste
Phyllis is a database containing information on the composition of biomass and waste. From Phyllis you can obtain analysis data of individual biomass or waste materials or average values for a group of materials.
Groups can be selected from one of three classification schemes: the ECN Phyllis scheme, the NTA 8003 scheme (only in Dutch), and the European standard CEN/TS 14961. The latter scheme is used for the BIODAT database, which has been made an integral part of Phyllis. The BIODAT database was developed in co-operation with European partners within the PHYDADES project.
You can get answers to questions such as:
- What is the average sulphur content of wood?
- What is the ash content of willow?
- What is the average calorific value of chicken manure?
You may also contact ECN to ask for tailor made selections, fully conducted to your wishes at a reasonable fee. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for information or with suggestions for improvement.
