Samenvatting:
An inventory has been made of electrical systems in wind turbines. Thefirst part concerns types of generators and includes variable reluctance, brushless double fed, superposing gearbox and hypocycloid options. Assessment criteria are chosen to rank these systems. The second part focuses on the transmission of the electric power to the shore. Innovative designs are discussed and a preliminary economic evaluation is presented. A more detailed study is in progress. 11 refs.
