Samenvatting:
Photovoltaic solar energy installations in the Dutch house construction industry are almost always connected to the public electricity network.
Direct current from solar cells is converted to alternate current and supplied to the grid. In this article it is discussed if it is possible to realize energy savings by applying a direct-current low-voltage network in houses.
