Samenvatting:
A study is done on the legislation on cadmium in solar modules. TheDutch government as well as the European Commission have made legislation on cadmium in products. The conclusion of this study is that the Dutch legislation presently appears to prohibit the use of cadmium in solar modules, in contrast with the European legislation. It is noted that this legislation has probably been made without specific knowledge on, or awareness of the (possible) use of cadmium in solar modules.
