Samenvatting:
The program MATEC-I can be used to obtain mechanical properties of crosssections of prismatic beams. This document contains a short verification of the MATEC-I program. The verification consists of the comparison of the result of the MATEC calculation and the analytical solution. Furthermore, MATEC's special functions are tested. The verification unveiled several bugs that have been fixed during the verification, and showed that the calculations are generally very accurate, the error being much smaller than 2%. 9 tabs., 5 figs., 6 refs., 4 appendices
