Samenvatting:
Het ministerie van VROM werkt aan de implementatie van Annex II van de EU-Richtlijn Storten (CEC, Council Directive 1999/31/EC of 26 April 1999 on the landfill of waste, Official Journal of the European Communities.) in de Nederlandse regelgeving. In de Europese Richtlijn storten (en dus ook in de Annex II (CEC, Council Decision 2003/33/EG of 19 December 2002 establishing criteria and procedures for the acceptance of waste at landfills pursuant to Article 16 and Annex II of Directive 1999/31/EC on the landfill of waste, Official Journal of the European Communities.)) wordt onderscheid gemaakt tussen stortplaatsen voor gevaarlijk afval en stortplaatsen voor niet-gevaarlijk afval.
