Samenvatting:
Measurement results can be accompanied by general uncertainties (such asinstrument uncertainties) and by specific uncertainties related to the regarded measurement technique. Specific uncertainties in mechanical load measurements on wind turbine blades are experimentally quantified by experiments in the laboratory. The experiments were aimed at the quantification of crosstalk of various loads (flatwise bending moment, edgewise bending moment, torsional moment, shear force and centrifugal force) on the various measurement signals. Furthermore the effects of temperature on the load signals have been investigated. Finally the consequence of the use of quasi static calibration results for dynamical measurements is addressed. The experiments resulted in conclusions for the examined blade only. The main conclusions are: 1. Crosstalk of flatwise load on edgewise signal and v.v. must be accounted for; 2. temperature effects require special attention; 3. the application of static calibrations for dynamic measurements cause significant uncertainty. The conclusions can be used as an indication of the possible effects for other wind turbine blades. 8 figs., 6 tabs.
