Samenvatting:
In this guideline an overview is given of the calculation methods thatcan be or have to be applied for several installations and situations. The starting points of this guideline are conform the amended Decree Radiation Protection as formulated in the Dutch Nuclear Energy Law. In appendix 1 the weakening of ionizing radiation by means of transmission through matter is described. Appendix 2 illustrates the problemacy of the shielding of parallel and diverging bundles of photons on the basis of Monte Carlo simulation.
