Technology: the key to a Copenhagen agreement?

Just months before the climate summit in Copenhagen, which aims to agree on a follow-up to the Kyoto Protocol, ECN and IVM jointly organise a symposium on technology in the international climate regime. The symposium aims to bring together academics, negotiators and politicians with the aim of information exchange and mutual learining through an open dialogue.
Confirmed speakers include Prof. Ruud Lubbers (former Prime Minister of the Netherlands), Prof. Robert Socolow (Princeton University) and Bert Metz (former co-chair of Working Group III of the IPCC). The symposium will be co-chaired by Prof. Frans Berkhout (director IVM) and Dr. Ton Hoff (managing director ECN).
