Energy Infrastructure

There are many aspects to the so-called energy infrastructure. To name a few:

• the way energy distribution networks are organized
• how energy distribution networks operate and function
• the role of renewable energy in distributed generation
• security of supply

ECN Policy Studies is and has been involved in several projects in which these aspects (and more) were studied. You can find detailed information about some of those projects in the pages under the theme Energy Infrastructure. Of course, the themes Energy Supply and Energy Markets are strongly related to this theme.
