Energy and Emission Scenarios - National Projections

Reference Projections 2005-2020

ECN and MNP have drafted the Reference Projection energy and emisions for the purpose of energy and climate policy. The reference projection provides a plausible assessment of developments in the Dutch energy supply until 2020. The realisations until 2005 and new perceptions and concrete energy and climate policy have been included.The economic growth of the reference projection is based on the optimistic variant from the economic outlook of CPB.

• Development of the CO₂ emission
• Indicative targets CO₂
• Development of other greenhouse gases
• Target for climate policy for 2008-2012
• Air-polluting emissions
• Decoupling of economy and emissions.
