Dutch Energy and Environmental Policy - Air Quality

ECN is experienced in energy and climate policy related air pollution issues, including emissions from all kinds of stationary sources and transport. The projects of Policy Studies range from source inventories, projections and emission reduction technology inventories to interactions with climate and reduction policies. Moreover, the ECN environmental research group specialises in atmospheric processes, dispersion and measuring equipment.

We have contributed to the following projects:

• Dutch Policy Research Programme on Air and Climate (BOLK)
• CURB-AIR: Improving air quality in Asian cities using the Clean Development Mechanism.
• Bunker fuel shipping
  Quick Scan of the Economic Consequences of prohibiting Residual Fuels in Shipping
• EGTEI
  An UNECE / CLRTAP Expert group on techno-economic issues, which aims at improving knowledge on emission reduction costs.
