This broad knowledge can only be maintained by being active in knowledge networks and making these networks available to companies and governments.

E&S has proven to provide effective support for large, innovative technological projects or their technical evaluation. The experts of this group often come up with surprisingly practical solutions to difficult questions. The group Engineering & Services is becoming a leading Dutch knowledge centre for technology.
