SACHA is the name of our multi-reactor facility at lab-scale (~ 2 nm3/h). It consists of a series of fixed bed reactors for the conversion of organic sulphur by HDS and the removal of sulphur and chlorine and many other impurities that are present in the gas produced in one of the lab-scale gasification reactors (WOB or MILENA) and cleaned from tar by the OLGA facility. The clean gas leaving SACHA can be used to feed another series of reactors to produce methane. This is part of the ECN-developments to bioSNG-technology towards a bioSNG demonstration plant.
