Bram van der Drift is a chemical engineer with an additional TWAIO study. After military service, he joined ECN and worked on natural gas ceramic foam burners. The product has now been licensed to EcoCeramics. Bram then joined the biomass research, focussing on fluidised bed gasification. This has led to the position of NL-representative within IEA/Task 33 on biomass gasification. Since 2008, Bram became group manager of “Syngas and SNG” and is now responsible for the developments of technologies MILENA and OLGA, as well as the SNG-concept.
