The AMANDA analyzer contains a rotating wet denuder for quantitative absorption of gas-phase ammonia, whereas ammonia-containing aerosols pass through the system. The collected solution from the denuder is continuously pumped to the detector for conductivity measurement. This device is suited for measurement of ca. 30 l air per minute at a detection limit of 10 nanogram ammonia per m3 at a time resolution of 2 minutes.
