ECN on-line yearly yield simulator

What it's all about
The energy yield of a grid-connected PV system depends on the type of PV
modules, the characteristics of the PV inverter, the meteorological
conditions, the orientation of the modules and several other characteristics
of the PV system.
In an interactive simulation programme specific PV
modules and PV inverters can be selected and various parameters of the PV
system can be chosen. The programme calculates the energy yield for the PV
system. The user has a choice of four different locations: The Bilt in The
Netherlands, Munich in Germany, Rome in Italy and Khartoum in Sudan.
The program gives a detailed analysis of the different sources of
losses of the particular simulated system. The user can use the results
of this analysis to optimise the system.
Browser requirements
Your browser needs to understand JavaScript
and PNG graphics.
ECN's yearly yield simulator is known to work with:
- Netscape 4.5 or later with JavaScript enabled
- Internet Explorer 4.0 or later with JavaScript enabled
ECN's yearly yield simulator does not work with Internet Explorer 3.x
because it does not support PNG graphics.
