ECN: Chemical Analyses

ECN

Chemical Analyses

Analytical Chemistry is an essential resource for research in the field of sustainable energy generation. ECN is specialised in measuring processflows, determining installation emissions and the development of new measurement methods for energyrelated problems such as greenhouse gasses.

At a research center such as ECN, the innovative solutions for measurements at experimental installations are, next to reliable standard analyses, of great importance. Everything is possible, but our biggest challenge is to find a solution that suits the specific needs of our customer for an optimal price-performance relation.

Accreditation

ECN has been accredited by the Dutch Accreditation Counsil under registration number L135 (ISO 17025). Furthermore, ECN has an ISO 9001 as well as an ISO 14001 certificate. Our fuel analyses are being performed according to NTA 8200 (Best Practice List). ECN contributes to (inter)national standards by participating in several norm committees. (NEN Biofuels, NEN Anorganic parameters, CEN 335 Solid Biofuels, CEN 343 Solid recovered Fuels, CEN 264 Measurement methods for Benzo(a)pyreen)
