Wouter Wetzels is a researcher in the Policy Evaluation & Support group of ECN Policy Studies. He specialises in energy and climate policy for industry and agriculture. He obtained a PhD in theoretical physics from Delft University of Technology and an MSc degree in physics from Utrecht University. After joining ECN Policy Studies in 2007, he has worked on and managed a large number of projects for Dutch ministries, government agencies and business clients. These include policy evaluations, scenario studies and energy efficiency analyses. His main fields of expertise are national and EU energy policies, energy efficiency in the industry, energy use in greenhouse horticulture and cogeneration. He has supervised three MSc level internships. |
