Tom Mikunda joined ECN in as a researcher 2009, joining the Global Sustainability group. In his current position he focuses on the assessment of policies and regulation related to the deployment of carbon capture and storage technologies in Europe and further a field. Prior to joining ECN, Tom worked for two years in the UK waste management industry, and as a energy efficiency consultant in an environmental engineering firm in the Netherlands. Tom has a strong background in environmental science, with particular proficiency in the fields of environmental law, waste management and water resource issues. He holds an MSc in Environmental and Resource Management and a 1st Class BSc Hons (International) in Environmental Science.
