Tom Kober works as a scientific researcher in the Global Sustainability group of Energy Policy Studies unit since 2012. He has experienced knowledge in the field of energy technology and policy assessment, based on TIMES energy system modelling. He contributed to several European research projects and currently focuses on global greenhouse gas mitigation strategies within the EU project LIMITS as well as analysis on CCS technologies in the CATO project. He graduated in Industrial Engineering and Management at Dresden University of Technology and works on his PhD in energy economics on perspectives of CCS based electricity generation in Europe.
