Tjasa Bole works as a scientific researcher at the ECN Policy studies unit. Ms Bole joined the ECN in May 2007 and works in the Renewable energy group. Her work covers a wide range of issues from price dynamics of the biomass markets, developments of the carbon market, support for rural energy business and policies for overcoming initial barriers of new renewable energy sources. Her research interests are in market and institutional challenges for higher penetration of renewables in both the developed and developing world and possibilities for knowledge transfer between regions with different levels of renewables use.
