Sytze Dijkstra has worked in the group Energy Production, Networks and Markets in the Policy Studies department of ECN since January 2010. Before that he was Analyst at Delta Energy & Environment in the UK and Director of Research at the World Alliance for Decentralized Energy, managing research products and consulting assignments. Sytze specializes in CHP, decentralized energy technology applications and network integration, advising major energy companies and governments worldwide about strategy development and investment decisions in low-carbon energy systems. He holds and MSc Environmental Sustainability form the University of Edinburgh (Distinction), researching the economic and environmental performance of biomass heating installations.
