Matthijs Uyterlinde works as a social scientist in the Energy Demand & Consumers group at ECN Policy Studies. He holds an MSc degree in Interdisciplinary Social Science (Utrecht University), with a specialisation in Urban Studies. Before he joined ECN in 2012 he worked as a research consultant and project manager in the field of housing and neighbourhood development. Previous work experience include research positions at Regioplan Policy Research and Netherlands Centre for Social Development MOVISIE. Since 2009 he also works as a programme advisor on population decline at Platform31 (formerly known as SEV). His current research focuses on social aspects of energy innovation and public engagement. His activities include ENGAGED, SPREAD and S3C (Smart Consumer - Smart Customer - Smart Citizen). |
