Martine Uyterlinde

Ms. Martine Uyterlinde is manager of the group Energy in Transport and Buildings at ECN Policy Studies. Since 2006, Martine Uyterlinde is in charge of the competence centre for transport, a knowledge network of employees that crosses borders of the different research groups.  She has over 13 years experience in energy and environment related policy studies. Martine Uyterlinde has a background in applied mathematics and is an experienced project manager, having managed several EU projects, such as Cascade Mints Part 2 (FP6, DG Research). Her key qualifications include energy use and emissions in the transport sector, long term energy scenarios, and renewable energy policy analysis. She advises the Dutch Ministries of Environment and Transport on policies and measures for reducing transport emissions. She is member of ECN’s energy transition think tank, and has coordinated the development of ECN’s long-term vision on a sustainable energy system.
