Marc Londo leads the group Global Sustainability at ECN Policy Studies, which focuses on energy, climate and development issues, and on global scenarios and systems analysis. In parallel he works on energy scenario and road mapping studies, primarily for policy makers. His main background is in biomass energy. He is an experienced coordinator of EU projects, such as REFUEL and Elobio (Intelligent Energy Europe), and several impact assessments for the European Commission. Before joining ECN he worked as a consultant in sustainable energy, agriculture and integrated rural development. He holds a PhD in biomass and land use and graduated in environmental chemistry.
