Bert Daniëls is a senior scientist at ECN Policy Studies. After his PhD research on new technologies in the steel industry and their effects on energy use and carbon dioxide, he started working at ECN policy studies in 1999. Since then, his work has included a wide variety of subjects, such as the energy use in the services sector, the European renewable electricity market, Dutch energy outlooks and scenarios. His current key specializations include modeling industrial and agricultural energy use and CHP, and integral analyses of energy use and emissions. Recent projects he has managed include the Optiedocument and policy instruments for energy saving. |
