Mr. Adriaan van der Welle works as a scientific researcher at the Energy research Centre of the Netherlands (ECN).  His research interests include the integration of intermittent renewable generation in electricity markets and grids, network regulation, energy markets design and security of supply. He has contributed to many European research projects about the market and network integration of distributed generation. He is (co-)author of papers and book chapters about distributed generation (INTECH, Energy policy) and security of supply (FEEM).
