REPOWERS - Developments in 2009

• In early 2009, the development of the unit commitment part of the model was finalized. This development allows for the full dynamic problem to be considered (unit commitment refers to the switching on/off of power plants, where certain technical requirements, need to be met).
• In 2009 and the 1st half of 2010 a validation of the model was carried out against other models (e.g. POWERS) and actual market realizations.
