Model outputs

The COMPETES model calculates the following main outputs:

• The allocation of generation and transmission capacity
• Yearly generation mix in eacht country:
  • Type of capacity
  • Fuel mix
• Emissions
  • CO2 emissions
  • Other when requested (e.g. air quality NEC emissions, depending on fuel use/technology)
• Hourly flow/congestion pattern and  congestion prices per interconnection
• The associated hourly (perfectly competitive or strategic) prices per country (node) (see example below for a 2020 scenario)
