Thermoacoustic heat pump

Thermoacoustics relates to the physical phenomenon that a temperature difference can create and amplify a sound wave and vice versa that a sound wave is able to create a temperature difference. This phenomenon can be used for several applications among which the upgrading of industrial waste heat.
