ECN has several ways to work with our customers. We provide consultancy services, using our broad knowledge on biomass technologies. We provide experimental services and contract R&D, combining the knowledge of our researchers and engineers with our state-of-the-art experimental facilities. ECN also develops and licenses biomass technologies. We provide all these services in the field of thermo-chemical biomass conversion, divided into four main lines:

• Pre-treatment of biomass
• Bio-refinery
