Tar Dew point Analyzer (TDA)

The Tar Dew point Analyzer (TDA) is able to measure the tar dew point of a producer gas. The dew point is the temperature at which tar condensation starts (and thus fouling) upon cooling of the gas. The TDA technology is based on water dew point meters and has been developed together with Mitchell Instruments. The TDA has been tested and validated extensively downstream different gasifiers at ECN and elsewhere. More information about the TDA.
