BIVKIN CFB gasifier
The BIVKIN is a 100 kg/h (500 kWth) air-blown CFB gasifier that has been operated since 1996. It has been commercialized by HoSt, who supplied three 3 MWth units to clients (status 2011). The BIVKIN facility at ECN has been replaced in 2007 by the next generation indirect gasifier according to the MILENA technology.
