Dutch Wind R&D Workshops received with great enthusiasm
On 11 and 12 October, the 'Dutch Wind R&D Workshops' took place at ECN in Petten. Over two days, researchers from ECN, Delft Technical University, SenterNovem and WMC presented all the R&D activities related to wind energy in the Netherlands. Among those present were the entire international top 5 wind turbine and blade manufacturers. Dutch research clearly has a lot to offer these people. [more...]
Licensing agreement for unique gas scrubbing system signed

European Union has exported €400 million through the Kyoto Protocol
The European Union private sector is exporting technology worth almost €400 million to developing countries as a consequence of the Kyoto Protocol. ECN technology in ultra-modern French power station
The new “green” electricity generating station in Moissanes, near Limoges in France was recently commissioned successfully. And the OLGA technology developed by ECN that is incorporated in the biomass gasifying plant is already proving its worth.
