Johan van de Gronden

Johan van de Gronden is Chief Executive Officer of the Dutch chapter of the World Wide Fund for Nature (www.wnf.nl) and member of the Executive Team of the global WWF network. With every 6th Dutch family supporting the work of WWF, the organisation is the leading green charity in the Lowlands. Prior to joining WWF in 2006, Johan served in the Dutch Foreign Service, the United Nations Development Programme and held senior managerial positions in business.

Outside his home country he has worked and lived in the Guyana's, South Africa and Scandinavia. He holds his Masters in Philosophy from Leyden University and is married with 2 children.
