ECN is an independent market-driven organisation for research, development and knowledge transfer in the field of sustainable energy. On behalf of the government, the business community and industry, ECN researches and develops technologies for a safe, efficient and environmentally sound energy supply. ECN employs a staff of approximately 600 and is beautifully located in the dunes of North Holland, slightly north of Petten. Energy innovation is mental work. The true capital of ECN is found in the minds of our employees. We are therefore very interested in candidates with up-to-date knowledge at a higher professional education (HBO) or academic education (WO) level, in such fields as applied physics, mechanical engineering, chemistry, chemical technology, aeronautics and aerospace, materials science, electrical engineering or mathematics.
