At the head office in Petten, ECN develops knowledge and technologies in the fields of solar energy, wind energy, biomass, energy efficiency and policy studies. The office is located in the dunes of North Holland, just north of the village of Petten.
By car
- On the A9, follow the signs Haarlem/Alkmaar
- Near Alkmaar, take the exit to Den Helder (Ring road West)
- At the Kooimeer roundabout, take the third exit in the direction of Den Helder
- Follow the N9 in the direction of Den Helder
- At Burgervlotbrug, take the second turn at the roundabout in the direction of Petten (N502)
- Turn right at the next roundabout in the direction of Callantsoog/ECN
- After 3 km you will find ECN on your left hand side
By public transport
